Many people do not understand when the follicles will mature and how big they will grow, so they have to go to the hospital for check-ups frequently. However, there are too many people being examined in the hospital, and they often have to hold their urine, which is very painful during the process. However, it is important to understand that normal ovulation of the egg can only take place after the follicles have matured, which often affects a person's normal life. How big must the follicles be before they can ovulate normally? At the beginning of each menstrual cycle, multiple follicles develop simultaneously, but generally only one or two follicles develop to maturity, called the primary follicles (dominant follicles), and the remaining follicles close one after another. It is reported that in more than 90% of the cycles, only one follicle grows rapidly to maturity, and 5%-11% have two main follicles develop. The earliest time for ultrasound imaging of follicles can be 5-7 days in the menstrual cycle, and the minimum diameter displayed is 4-5mm. The size of a mature follicle should be round or oval, with a diameter of 15-30mm. If it is lower or larger than this standard, ovulation cannot occur normally. Ultrasound monitoring shows that the largest follicle appears on the 10th to 16th day of menstruation. The follicle is 20mm in diameter, round in shape, with thin walls, protruding to one side of the ovary, and good internal sound transmission. Ovulation usually occurs within 10 hours, and most cases occur within the 12th to 18th day of menstruation, and a few may occur on the 20th to 30th day. Most people's ovulation is very normal. If abnormal situation occurs, you must pay attention to your diet, eat a light diet, do not stay up late, pay attention to your diet during menstruation, do not eat irritating food, eat more fruits and vegetables. If it is still abnormal, do not take medicine indiscriminately, but go to a regular hospital for treatment. |
