What to pay attention to when doing cervical cancer screening

Women have a relatively high chance of developing cervical diseases. Among the many cervical diseases, the most serious one is cervical cancer. Because this disease directly threatens women's lives, women should take more precautions in their lives. The prevention method is to perform cervical cancer screening regularly. However, this examination item requires women to pay attention to many things. So what should you pay attention to when doing cervical cancer screening?

First, what should you pay attention to when doing cervical cancer screening? Female physical examinations are generally required to be performed during the non-menstrual period, and the same applies to cervical TCT examinations. It is best to do it within 3-7 days after the end of menstruation. The couple should not have sex for two days after the cervical TCT examination. Do not flush the vagina or use vaginal suppositories the day before the TCT examination. Vaginal examination should be done after the cervical TCT examination. If you have gynecological inflammation, you should wait until the disease is cured before doing a cervical TCT test to avoid inaccurate test results.

Second, the role of cervical cancer screening. The development of cervical cancer is a long process. If screening can be carried out in the early stages of the disease, the occurrence and development of cancer can be prevented. The focus of cervical cancer screening is to detect precancerous lesions during the period when there are no subjective symptoms, and to conduct clinical diagnosis and treatment as early as possible during the non-cancerous period, so as to prevent and stop the occurrence of cancer. In one sentence, "The significance of cervical cancer screening lies in prevention, early detection and early treatment." Cervical cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in women, and its incidence rate ranks second only to breast cancer. In recent years, the incidence rate of cervical cancer has increased and tends to be younger. Although the incidence of cervical cancer is high, its cure rate is very high.

TCT examination is the most advanced cervical cancer cell technology in the world. It has an accuracy rate of over 98% in detecting early cervical cancer and is a rare cervical cancer detection technology. For TCT testing, clinicians collect cervical cell samples using a special TCT sampler in the usual way. Then, instead of applying the sample directly to a microscope slide, the sampler is placed in a vial containing cell preservation fluid for rinsing, thus obtaining almost all the cell samples. It is of great significance for cervical cancer screening.
