How often should 3D color Doppler ultrasound be performed?

Many people think that they can do B-ultrasound or color ultrasound immediately after pregnancy. In fact, it is not true. In the early stages of pregnancy, the fetus is just a fertilized egg, and even if a color ultrasound is performed, nothing can be seen. Only when the fetus has developed to a certain period can the doctor use B-ultrasound or color ultrasound to determine fetal development problems or whether there are any deformities. So, how often should 3D color ultrasound be done?

Three-dimensional color ultrasound is a type of color ultrasound. It is a color Doppler ultrasound diagnostic instrument with three-dimensional dynamic display. It can not only observe the growth process of the fetus, but also check the changes in the placenta, amniotic fluid and umbilical cord.

The contrast between the tissue structure and liquid grayscale of three-dimensional color ultrasound is large, which can clearly display the three-dimensional morphology, surface features, and spatial position relationship of suspicious structures, and provide a three-dimensional image of the fetus in the uterus. Therefore, it can also diagnose the morphology of the fetus in the mother's body (whether it is deformed).

Three-dimensional color ultrasound surface imaging is used in obstetric examinations. It can not only observe the growth process of the fetus, but also check the changes in the placenta, amniotic fluid and umbilical cord. More importantly, it can be used as the main means of diagnosing fetal malformations. Due to the large grayscale contrast between tissue structure and liquid, the three-dimensional morphology, surface features, and spatial position relationship of the suspicious structure can be clearly displayed, providing a three-dimensional image of the fetus in the uterus. Three-dimensional reconstruction includes surface imaging, transparent imaging and multi-plane imaging modes. Its advantages are:

(1) Add coronal section images while retaining two-dimensional imaging.

(2) Stereo positioning and axial adjustment. The three axial planes ABC can be adjusted at will until the best image is displayed.

(3) Stereoscopic imaging, dynamic and intuitive; it can observe the fetal head, body surface and internal organs in real time, and the images are clear, accurate and reliable.

(4) Cutting function can retain the key points of the image, cut off useless parts, and perform 3D reconstruction of suspicious parts.

(5) Rotation function, which enables observation from multiple angles; it has 360° rotation functions in the front, back, left, right, up and down directions, allowing for comprehensive observation of images from different directions.

(6) You can take beautiful photos of the fetus, record its facial expressions and burn them to a CD for storage as a permanent commemoration.
