Postmenopausal abdominal pain and back pain

Postmenopausal abdominal pain and back pain

The waist is the main force supporting the human body. Failure to protect the waist for a long time will lead to low back pain. Modern people are under great pressure and live in a fast pace, which can easily lead to low back pain due to some special reasons. So, what is the reason for abdominal distension and low back pain after menopause? Physiological low back pain. Women with dysmenorrhea symptoms will feel sore waist and weak legs during the menarche period. Generally speaking, it is physiological pain and does not require special treatment. Some women choose to relieve waist pain by tapping their waist, which is not advisable and the result is usually not worth the effort.

Fatigue and external force

1. Lumbar muscle strain

Excessive fatigue of the human body, abnormal standing or sitting posture, etc. can all cause lumbar muscle strain and cause chronic dull pain in the waist. Usually you should pay attention to arrange your time reasonably.

2. Intervertebral disc disease

Lumbar disc herniation is a common cause of low back pain in young women. It is mostly caused by lumbar injury and long-term chronic muscle strain, and is mainly manifested by lumbar pain, radiating pain and numbness in the lower limbs, etc. The treatment includes bed rest with traction belt, surgery, etc.

3. Osteoporosis

It is more common in middle-aged and elderly women, especially postmenopausal women. Because the bone density of the spine is low, the load-bearing capacity of the spine decreases, and the body will experience low back pain when bearing weight or even walking.

4. Trauma

If the waist has been twisted, it may develop into lumbar disc, causing more severe low back pain; in addition, arthritis and rheumatism caused by cold can also cause low back pain.

5. Genitourinary system infection

Due to their anatomical and physiological characteristics, women are susceptible to urinary and reproductive system infections, such as chronic pyelonephritis, gonorrhea, cervicitis, cervical erosion, etc., which are mainly manifested as soreness or dull pain in the lower back, and radiate along the urethra to the vulva. In addition, urinary stones, tuberculosis, etc. can also cause low back pain.
