Woman chest pain

Many people feel inexplicable chest pain in their lives, and have difficulty breathing or other symptoms. Most chest pains may come from several factors, such as breast pain, pain inside the chest cavity, and pain in the ribs. Therefore, women’s chest pain can be very complicated. It is best to go to the hospital for a check-up, because many diseases are only mild symptoms in the early stages and will become very serious later.

There are many reasons for chest pain, such as tension muscle pain, reflux esophagitis, costochondritis, pleurisy, chest wall pain, coronary heart disease, gallbladder inflammation, etc. These may cause the human body to feel chest pain. However, most of the chest pain that people go to the hospital for examination is caused by chest wall pain.

Chest wall pain, also known as "musculoskeletal pain", is concentrated in one place and lasts for 1-2 seconds. It can be tingling or even severe pain, especially when the patient takes a deep breath, coughs, sneezes, or stands up immediately. It may take a few days or 2-3 weeks for the condition to improve. Chest wall pain can occur at any age.

Excessive anxiety causes chest pain. The pain can spread throughout the chest cavity and can last for hours, days, years or even more than 10 years. People usually feel chest discomfort when they sit down, lie down or are idle. Some also experience dizziness, cold sweats, nausea, chest tightness and shortness of breath, and fear of cold and heat.

The chest pain caused by coronary heart disease is actually angina pectoris. This type of chest pain is exactly the opposite of the chest pain caused by anxiety. People only feel pain when they exercise, walk, or climb stairs, and the pain gradually subsides after resting or stopping. This type of angina pectoris usually lasts for 5-10 minutes, and the pain is especially severe in the upper chest. If this pain persists for 15-30 minutes, or it is a myocardial infarction, you must seek emergency medical attention immediately.

Gastroesophageal reflux disease. Chest pain caused by this reason is usually because people overeat, eat too much, and feel something blocked in the chest or something rising when lying down or sleeping. Moreover, this pain is not obvious pain, but a dull pain. You can feel a sour taste in your mouth. Sitting up or standing up can improve the symptoms of chest pain.
