Many women who choose natural childbirth will actually encounter many problems, such as vaginal tearing, heavy bleeding, and great pain. If anal eversion occurs after a normal birth, there is no need to worry too much, as it will return to normal after a few days. However, in your daily diet, you should be careful not to eat spicy food, and avoid irritating the anus during bowel movements, which will affect future recovery. The anus is tightly closed due to the contraction of the internal and external sphincters, and the skin around the anus is radially wrinkled. Anal prolapse refers to a swelling at the edge of the anus or a swelling in the anal canal and rectum that protrudes out of the anus, which is collectively referred to as rectal prolapse in traditional Chinese medicine. Clinically, according to the relationship between the prolapse of the tumor and defecation, if it prolapses during defecation, it can return to the anus by itself after defecation; some cannot return after defecation or are often outside the anus. Common symptoms include: (1) Internal hemorrhoids: When internal hemorrhoids protrude outside the anus during defecation, if the hemorrhoids retract on their own after defecation, they are stage II internal hemorrhoids; if the hemorrhoids cannot retract after defecation and need to be repositioned by manipulation, they are stage III internal hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are purple or bright red, shaped like strawberries, and the mucosa is thin and prone to bleeding. (2) External hemorrhoids are often caused by dry stool. After straining during defecation, a swelling or pain may occur outside the anus. The swelling is round and tender. There are purple-blue nodules under the skin. Most of them are thrombosed external hemorrhoids. Repeated minor injuries and infections of the anal skin may cause the skin to become red, swollen, hot, painful, and the skin folds to swell, forming inflammatory external hemorrhoids. After the inflammation subsides, skin tags are left behind. These are connective tissue external hemorrhoids. The only symptoms are discomfort in the anus after defecation, difficulty in cleaning, or itching. (3) Anal papilla hypertrophy. In addition to the small triangular and rice-shaped anal papillae, the larger anal papillae may fall out of the anus during defecation. Some of them can return to their original position by themselves, while others need to be supported by hands to return to their original position. Clinically, there is only anal discomfort, no tenderness, and very little bleeding. There may be one or several anal papillae. (4) Rectal polyps: Polyps at the lower end of the rectum can protrude from the anus during defecation and can retract on their own. The surface of the polyps is mucous membrane, which becomes strawberry-shaped when inflamed. Prolapsed polyps have stalks and are prone to bleeding. |
