Can I touch my belly during early pregnancy?

The early stage of pregnancy refers to the 1st to 13th week of pregnancy. In the early stages of pregnancy, because pregnant women's bodies generally have early pregnancy reactions, they will feel tired, sleepy, have a loss of appetite, and even nausea and vomiting. Because pregnant women need exercise the most in the first three months, they should not exercise excessively, because excessive exercise may lead to premature birth or miscarriage.

The first trimester refers to the period from the first week to the thirteenth week of pregnancy. In the early stages of pregnancy, pregnant women will have stronger symptoms, and some pregnant women begin to experience early pregnancy reactions (fatigue, weakness, drowsiness, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, etc.).

Expectant mothers need exercise the most during the first three months of pregnancy. People often say that expectant mothers should exercise more, which will help with natural childbirth and benefit the body and mind.

Mitigation methods

1. Lie down and get enough rest. When you feel like vomiting, you might as well lie down. This method can effectively relieve morning sickness. You can also use a pregnancy pillow to protect your back and stomach and ensure a good night's sleep.

2. Eat small and frequent meals. Eating a small amount in the morning can prevent nausea and vomiting. Keep some nutritious and appetizing snacks around you so that you can eat whenever you feel hungry. This method can reduce morning sickness.

3. Eat more original foods. In the early stages of pregnancy, you can eat more foods rich in carbohydrates, such as soda crackers, bananas, etc. In addition, white rice, plain yogurt, lemonade, watermelon, etc. can also reduce morning sickness. Avoid fatty, greasy, spicy, and fried foods, which can irritate your already fragile digestive system.

4. Eat a snack. Place some simple snacks, such as cookies, by your bed. When you wake up, eat a few cookies and rest for 20-30 minutes before getting up. If you wake up in the middle of the night feeling nauseous, you can also eat some cookies to relieve the pain.

5. Adjust the temperature of the drink. If you feel like vomiting when you see a hot drink, try a cold drink instead. Conversely, if cold drinks make you want to vomit more, switch to hot drinks. Try eating foods that are cool or at room temperature, as the smell of these foods is not as strong as hot foods.

6. Smell the lemon. Cut open a fresh lemon and smell or lick it. The refreshing scent and sour taste of lemon can help many expectant mothers relieve morning sickness. Put a few drops of lemon on a handkerchief and use it as an emergency measure when you smell an unpleasant odor.
