What to eat to relieve diarrhea in pregnant women

Pregnant women will basically encounter diarrhea, but it needs to be properly treated and relieved, otherwise the pregnant woman's body will be uncomfortable. When pregnant women suffer from diarrhea, they should first replenish water and electrolytes appropriately. Then they can eat some light pasta or white porridge to regulate their stomach.

How to treat diarrhea in pregnant women

1. Make sure your daily diet provides you with adequate vitamins and minerals. You can also ask your doctor to prescribe a list of daily pregnancy vitamins for you and take them during your pregnancy.

2. Eat at least one food rich in vitamin C every day, including: citrus, grapes, strawberries, broccoli, honey, green peppers, tomatoes and mustard.

3. Eat at least one food rich in folic acid every day, including: dark green vegetables, veal, and beans. Pregnant women need 400 micrograms of folic acid daily to prevent birth defects such as spina bifida.

4. Eat at least one food rich in vitamin A every other day, including carrots, pumpkin, spinach, cabbage, beets, almonds and cantaloupe.

5. Eat or drink at least four servings of dairy products and high-calcium foods each day to help you get 1,200 mg of calcium in your daily diet. Eat at least three servings of iron-rich foods each day to ensure you get 30 mg of iron in your daily diet.

6. Drink more water, eat more millet rice, and don’t eat spicy or irritating food, raw, cold or greasy food. That’s all.
