As we all know, only when the female egg and the male sperm combine can the female successfully become pregnant. Men produce sperm every day, but women only release one egg every month. If there is a problem with a woman's body, she may not ovulate at all. If you want to get pregnant, you must first understand how to determine the ovulation day. Having sex during ovulation can increase the chance of pregnancy. 1. Calculation of ovulation period Ovulation period calculation is to calculate the ovulation period and ovulation day based on previous menstrual cycles, but it is difficult to calculate accurately and can only serve as a reference. Because this method is based on the menstrual cycle, the following two situations may occur: 1. Regularity of menstrual cycle: The ovulation day is 14 days before the next menstruation (for example, if the menstrual cycle is 30 days, and the first day of menstruation in August is August 2, then the first day of menstruation in September should be September 2, and 14 days forward, the ovulation day in August is August 19). The 5 days before the ovulation day and the 4 days after the ovulation day are the ovulation period. The actual effective conception time is generally about 7 days. 2. Irregular menstrual cycle: Accurately record the menstrual cycle of the previous three months, for example 28 days in June, 25 days in July, and 21 days in August. Take the maximum value 28 and the minimum value 21 among the three values. Subtract 11 from 28 to get 17, and 21-18 to get 3. The ovulation period in September will be included in the 3rd to 17th days after the menstruation of that month. However, this method makes it difficult to accurately measure the time of ovulation, let alone estimate the ovulation day. It requires a comprehensive analysis based on other means. 2. Calculation based on physiological reactions 1. Your body temperature will rise slightly during ovulation The body temperature will rise slightly after ovulation. If you insist on measuring your basal body temperature every morning during the pregnancy preparation period, you can provide a certain basis for predicting the ovulation day based on the changes in body temperature. However, there are many factors that cause changes in human body temperature. The external environment, amount of exercise, and emotions will all have an impact. Therefore, this cannot be used as the sole basis, but can only be used as one of the means of prediction. 2. There may be slight bleeding during ovulation Before and after ovulation, the body's estrogen secretion increases, which may cause slight uterine bleeding. 3. Increased vaginal discharge After ovulation, the secretions will increase significantly. These secretions will have the characteristics of strong stringiness, watery, transparent and clear, accompanied by moisture in the genitals, and this phenomenon usually lasts for about 2 to 3 days. 4. Anal swelling or mild pain in the lower abdomen During ovulation, the egg needs to pass through the follicle on the surface of the egg membrane. Some of the fluid in the follicle will flow into the pelvic cavity, causing a slight feeling of falling in the anus, which may be accompanied by slight pain in the lower abdomen on one side. |
