If the diameter of an ovarian cyst found during a physical examination or medical check-up does not exceed 5 cm, regular check-ups should be performed to monitor the condition of the cyst. Usually ovarian cysts will gradually disappear within 1 to 2 months, but if the cysts do not shrink or even continue to grow, treatment is needed. If an ovarian cyst continues to grow, it may be an ovarian cystic tumor. The doctor may recommend surgical treatment or conservative treatment. The specific treatment plan depends on the patient's condition.
