If a girl's vagina is itchy, it is quite serious, because she is in the stage of development and growth at this time. If it is not completely cured, her growth and development will be delayed. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to it. This can also be regarded as a paroxysmal disease. Try to take some treatment measures during the onset of the disease, which will be more effective.

Vaginal itching in girls

The itching is mostly located in the clitoris and labia minora. It can also affect the labia majora, perineum and even the perianal area. It is often paroxysmal, but can also be continuous, usually aggravated at night. Unexplained vulvar itching usually only occurs in women of childbearing age or postmenopausal women, often affecting the entire vulva, but may also be limited to a certain part or one side of the vulva. Although the itching is very severe and even unbearable, the local skin and mucous membranes appear normal, or there are only scratches due to excessive scratching.

The main symptoms of vulvovaginal candidiasis and Trichomonas vaginitis are vulvar itching and increased leucorrhea. The main symptom of vulvar squamous epithelial hyperplasia is vulvar itching, accompanied by loss of vulvar skin pigmentation. Why does vulvar itching caused by pinworm infection occur most frequently at night?

In patients with diabetes, sugar in their urine irritates the vulvar skin, especially when complicated by vulvovaginal candidiasis. The vulvar itching is particularly inflammatory and even unbearable, but the local skin and mucous membranes appear normal, or there are only scratches and blood scabs due to excessive scratching. When patients with chronic diseases such as jaundice, vitamin A and B deficiency, anemia, leukemia, etc. experience vulvar itching, it is often part of systemic itching. Hepatobiliary cholestasis during pregnancy can also cause itching of the skin, including the vulva.

In fact, the exact cause of this disease is still unclear. Some people have conducted experiments in which they exchanged the diseased vulva skin with normal skin on the patient's thigh. After a period of time, they found that the transplanted skin turned normal, while the normal skin transplanted to the vulva turned into diseased skin again.

Therefore, it is speculated that the neurovascular dysfunction deep in the vulva may lead to nutritional imbalance in the skin covering the surface. Studies have shown that tissues in various parts of the body rely on nerve regulation to ensure adequate blood supply so that they can absorb nutrients. If the nutrition supply is insufficient for a long time, it will inevitably lead to pathology. Vulvar malnutrition refers to local lesions and has no direct relationship with the overall nutritional status.

In the past, many people believed that vulvar leukoplakia was a precancerous lesion and advocated early removal of the diseased tissue, but practice has shown that the recurrence rate is quite high. However, some experts conducted long-term follow-up and found that the cancer rate in patients with chronic vulvar malnutrition is only about 2%. The key is that for some patients with severe symptoms that have not been effectively treated for a long time, as well as those with ulcers, nodules and other lesions on the vulva, a part of the tissue should be selected for pathological examination in time.

Other causes

When women suffer from diabetes, due to the irritation of the vulvar skin by urine sugar, they are prone to complications of bacterial vulvar and vaginitis, causing vulvar itching. When jaundice occurs due to liver, gallbladder and other diseases, vulvar itching may also occur due to the increase of bilirubin in the blood and the irritation of the skin by bile salts. In addition, some women may experience vulvar itching due to psychological factors when they are under stress.
