Ovulation test strips and whiteboard after transplantation

Ovulation test strips and whiteboard after transplantation

Whether it is an ovulation test paper or an early pregnancy test paper, it can detect a woman's pregnancy status. In modern society, more and more couples with fertility problems choose IVF to get pregnant because it can increase the chances of successful pregnancy. In vitro fertilization is mainly done by combining fertilized eggs in vitro and then implanting them into the woman's uterus. If a woman finds that the ovulation test paper is blank after IVF, does it prove that she is pregnant?

Many couples who have undergone test tube transplantation will take early pregnancy tests too early. Of course, this nervous and excited mood is very understandable. However, if the pregnancy test is taken too early, a blank result may be obtained. At this time, the patient will be very disappointed. So, is there still hope if the result is blank on the tenth day of frozen embryo transplantation? Let me introduce it to you below.

1. The time from embryo transplantation to successful implantation is different. Some patients may have embryo implantation three or four days after transplantation, but some patients have not had embryo implantation for ten days. In fact, embryo implantation usually takes about two weeks, so we can only determine whether the fetus has successfully implanted after two weeks. After an IVF transplant, if the early pregnancy test shows a white board 12 days later, it may be that the embryo has not yet fully implanted.

2. Many couples may be very disappointed and sad when the result is white 12 days after the transplant, thinking that the IVF has failed. In fact, they can wait 2 to 3 days and then take another pregnancy test. However, the pregnancy test has a certain degree of accuracy and cannot give 100% accurate test results.

3. To determine whether the test-tube baby is successful and whether the embryo has implanted normally, you cannot rely solely on the test of early pregnancy test strips. You should go to the hospital for early pregnancy test two weeks later. The early pregnancy test results obtained at this time are the most accurate. If the test is done too early, even if the embryo implants successfully, it will not show up on the test paper. After undergoing an IVF transplant, couples should not rush to do a test paper test.

Note:

After the frozen embryo transfer, it takes about two weeks from transplantation to implantation. After implantation, it takes another 5 to 7 days for the hcg level in the pregnant woman's body to reach a certain concentration that can be detected by the early pregnancy test, so patients should not be too anxious.
