What is the cause of strong cervical echo

I believe that many people do not know the cause of the strong cervical echo, nor do they know what disease this situation means. Therefore, we suggest that you can understand the following content to increase your understanding of medical knowledge. If strong echoes are detected during cervical examination, it is mainly because of the presence of cancerous cells or uterine polyps in the uterus, and we need to use several of the examination methods introduced below.

First of all, everyone should understand that a normal cervix often shows a uniform low echo during B-ultrasound examination. If a high echo appears, it is often caused by the presence of foreign matter. For example, cervical polyps, erosions, and cysts are all reflected with high echoes. Therefore, high echoes in the cervical canal are not necessarily cancer. In order to further confirm the diagnosis, early diagnosis of cervical cancer can be performed to confirm the diagnosis. Let us look at the methods for diagnosing early cervical cancer so that patients can choose.

1. Cervical smear test. Cervical smear, which is the earliest cytological test, is the traditional method for cervical cancer screening. It mainly involves taking a small amount of cell samples from the cervix, placing them on a glass slide, and using a microscope to observe and study whether there are cervical cancer cells.

2. HPV and TCT examination. This is the latest method for cervical cancer screening, which greatly improves the chance of detecting early cervical lesions. If there are no abnormalities in the HPV and TCT tests, it means that the risk of cervical lesions occurring in the near future is very low.

3. Gynecological acetic acid and iodine staining examination. Married women can undergo gynecological examination. The acetic acid or iodine solution applied to the cervix can be used to develop color to determine whether there are suspicious lesions in the cervix.

In short, there are many types of high echoes in the cervical canal. It is not a specific manifestation of cervical cancer, so it is impossible to determine whether it is cancer based on this one test result. If you need to confirm cervical cancer, you can perform a cervical smear test or HPV and TCT test as well as gynecological acetic acid and iodine staining test. These are all methods for early diagnosis of cervical cancer, and patients can choose by themselves. However, for the sake of accuracy of the examination, it is recommended to choose HPV and TCT for examination because this examination method has a high accuracy rate.
