Will I have frequent urination when I am pregnant?

When a woman just becomes pregnant, her body will have many early pregnancy reactions, such as vomiting, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, etc. These are all normal and are the most well-known to us. However, some women also experience symptoms of frequent urination. When this happens, they naturally worry whether it is a natural reaction. So, will you have frequent urination when you are just pregnant? Let’s take a look below.

Will frequent urination occur during early pregnancy?

Many pregnant women will experience frequent urination when they first become pregnant. Many of them even find out that they are pregnant when they discover they have frequent urination and go to the hospital for a check-up. In fact, frequent urination is a stage that most pregnant women must go through during pregnancy.

So why does frequent urination occur in early pregnancy? In fact, frequent urination in early pregnancy is caused by the enlarged anteverted uterus pressing on the bladder in the pelvic cavity, so frequent urination is one of the symptoms in early pregnancy. However, there is no need to worry about this symptom of early pregnancy. Frequent urination will naturally disappear after 12 weeks of pregnancy.

So far, there is no particularly good way to control the occurrence of frequent urination. The only feasible way is for pregnant mothers to control the amount of water they drink. Pregnant mothers do not want to go to the toilet frequently at night, so it is best not to drink water within 1-2 hours before going to bed.

In fact, pregnant women are only troubled by frequent urination in the early and late stages of pregnancy. Most of the time during pregnancy, pregnant women will be relatively better. However, pregnant mothers should note that frequent urination is usually just frequent urination, and the body will not experience other symptoms or discomfort. But if you experience any abnormal symptoms such as pain or burning sensation when urinating, go to the hospital for help immediately. If you have abnormal urination, you should go to the hospital for examination in time, otherwise delaying the treatment may involve other organs such as the kidneys.

Early pregnancy symptoms

1. Physical fatigue

In the early stages of pregnancy, some pregnant women's bodies will secrete a hormone similar to an anesthetic. Its main ingredient is progesterone, which mainly acts on the uterus. But this progesterone will increase the basal body temperature, so you will lack physical strength. Therefore, I feel very tired. But after 3 months of pregnancy, the mother's condition will improve.

2. Often feel dizzy and sleepy

After becoming pregnant, the functions of a mother's organs undergo adaptive changes due to endocrine changes and the growth and development of the fetus. The circulatory system is especially sensitive. Due to insufficient blood supply to the brain and low blood pressure, symptoms such as dizziness, headache, and drowsiness often occur.

3. Mild vaginal bleeding

The fertilized egg will implant in the uterus within 6-12 days after conception, which may cause slight vaginal bleeding in pregnant women. If this happens, pregnant women do not need to worry if the vaginal bleeding is mild and there are no serious discomfort symptoms. This is a normal physiological reaction when the fertilized egg implants and is harmless to the human body. However, implantation bleeding of the fertilized egg needs to be distinguished from menstruation to prevent pregnant women from being pregnant without knowing it.

4. Frequent urination

Frequent urination in early pregnancy is mainly caused by changes in hormonal secretions in the body. Not only does the expanded uterus put pressure on the bladder, but the increased blood flow also puts pressure on the kidneys, leading to increased urine.

5. Loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting

In the first three months of pregnancy, almost all pregnant women will experience nausea and vomiting. In the initial stages of pregnancy, most pregnant women will experience the pain of morning nausea and vomiting, and around 4 weeks of pregnancy, morning nausea and vomiting often lasts for 24 hours a day.
