What tests are needed for female infertility?

As we all know, in modern society, the probability of infertility is very high, and the number of such people is increasing every year. It can be seen that timely treatment of this disease is imminent. For female infertile people, they should not sit and wait for death, but take the initiative to go to the hospital for timely examination to find out the cause of infertility. So, what should women do to check for infertility?

1. Full body examination: Check the baby's development, weight, height, heart and lungs, endocrine organs, abdominal examination, especially the development of secondary sexual characteristics and the presence of galactorrhea.

2. Ultrasound examination: Check the development, shape and position of the uterus and appendages, and whether there are any lesions. Such as: endometriosis, ovarian and fallopian tube tumors, uterine fibroids, etc.

3. Ovulation check: Ovulation is closely related to female reproduction. The presence of ovulation can be determined by measuring basal body temperature and examining cervical mucus or hormones, and the time of ovulation can also be predicted.

4. Endometrial examination: When necessary, a biopsy is performed to understand the functional status of the endometrium. Not only that, this project is also a reliable method to understand the presence or absence of ovulation or the functional status of the corpus luteum. At the same time, you can also understand the size of the uterus and rule out uterine cavity lesions. Such as tuberculosis, uterine fibroids, etc.

5. Reproductive system examination: in addition to general inspection and palpation. A colposcopy is also required. Internal examination provides a preliminary understanding of the general conditions of the vagina, cervix, uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries. For example; the size and position of the uterus, whether there are lumps in the ovaries, etc.

6. Hysteroscopy and laparoscopy: The morphology of the cervical canal, uterine cavity and bilateral fallopian tubes can be directly observed, and living tissue can be examined under direct vision.

7. Immunological examination: Perform chromosome examination to find out whether there are anti-sperm antibodies.

8. Endocrine examination: Measurement of serum estrogen and progesterone levels at different times during the menstrual cycle. It can help understand the ovarian function and measure the basal metabolic rate. You can learn about thyroid function, adrenal function, serum prolactin measurement, etc.

9. Fallopian tube examination: mainly to understand whether the fallopian tubes are unobstructed, whether the uterus and fallopian tubes are developing normally, and whether there are any deformities.
