How to reduce the hot feeling during the confinement period? First, we need to find out the cause of the heat. Postpartum fever is treated with the right medicine, and the treatment is very simple

(1) Fever caused by postpartum cold.

The main symptoms are chills, fever, sweating, joint pain and sore throat. The basic treatment principle is to dispel wind, clear heat and detoxify.

① Angelica dahurica tea: Grind equal amounts of Angelica dahurica and Nepeta tenuifolia into powder and divide into packets (about 15 grams per packet). Take 1 packet and 5 grams of new tea each time, brew them together with 200 ml of boiling water for 15 minutes, then mix the juice with a little honey, drink it while warm, no more than 3 times a day. It is suitable for postpartum cold and wind evil. It is not suitable for women with wind-heat cold or those with yin deficiency and blood heat.

② Onion, black bean and pork porridge: 10 grams of black bean and 10 grams of onion. First boil the two together and then cook the juice with minced meat and rice into porridge.

③ Bamboo Leaf God Porridge: 30 grams of bamboo leaves, 10 grams of god. First add sugar to both and boil out the juice, then use the juice to cook porridge for consumption.

(2) Fever caused by postpartum infection.

This is the most common type of postpartum fever, with the onset within 24 hours to 10 days after delivery. The main symptoms of the patient are high fever and chills. The mother may experience headache, body pain, and lower abdominal pain. The amount of lochia may range from normal to heavy, and the color is dark purple with a fishy odor. If a gynecological examination is performed, redness and swelling of the perineum, vagina and cervix may be seen. If the inflammation develops seriously, it may affect the internal reproductive organs and cause acute abdominal symptoms such as abdominal muscle tension. The basic treatment principles are clearing away heat, detoxifying, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis. Pregnant women can eat more lotus root, wheat, pork liver, mussels, whitebait, crucian carp and other foods.

① Figs stewed with lean pork: 60 grams of dried figs, 100 grams of lean pork. Put figs and lean pork into a clay pot, add appropriate amount of water, and stew until cooked. Add seasoning and serve.

② Cook black fungus with mulberries: 30 grams of mulberry seeds, 10 grams of black fungus, 8 red dates, cook and eat.

③ Pork Kidney Soup: 15g pork kidney, 15g fermented black beans, 10g green onion, 50g glutinous rice. Cook all the above ingredients together into porridge and eat.

(3) Postpartum anemia.

Fever is caused by excessive bleeding in the mother. At this time, the mother's fever is not too high and she feels sweaty. The main symptoms are flushed face, tinnitus, palpitations, and dizziness. Nourishing yin and clearing away heat are the main treatment principles.

① Ginger juice yellow eel rice: 150 grams of yellow eel and 20 milliliters of ginger juice, cook with rice.

② Cook dace with kudzu powder: 10 grams of kudzu powder, 500 grams of dace, cook until done.

③ Ox blood porridge: 60 grams of ox blood, 100 grams of rice, cook porridge as usual.

(4) Steaming milk causes heat.

It usually starts 3 to 4 days after delivery. In addition to fever, the main symptoms of the mother are breast swelling, self-reported pain, poor milk secretion, and local redness and swelling. This should be treated promptly to prevent it from developing into mastitis. The basic treatment principle is to clear away heat and pain and dredge the milk vessels.

① Loulu Trichosanthes tea: 30g Loulu, 15g whole Trichosanthes, 6g Qingpi, brew with boiling water for 20 minutes and drink, twice a day. It can dredge the milk meridians, reduce swelling and promote milk secretion.

② Luffa tea: 30 grams of luffa, boiled in water, drink as tea.

③ Pigeon meat and almond soup: 10 grams of sweet almonds and 100 grams of pigeon meat, cook together, eat the meat and drink the soup after it is cooked.

④ Rapeseed porridge: 100 grams each of rapeseed and glutinous rice, cook into porridge and eat.
