This condition belongs to the type of qi stagnation and blood stasis, and the treatment should be to regulate qi and promote blood circulation. You can choose 5 grams each of angelica, Chuanxiong, 8 grams each of peach kernel and Cyperus rotundus, 4 grams of roasted ginger, 12 grams of motherwort, 10 grams each of Puhuang and Rubia cordifolia, decocted in water and taken orally.

3. If the patient has heavy vaginal bleeding, or long menstrual period, light color, thin texture, shortness of breath, lack of strength, dull complexion, pale and tender tongue with teeth marks, thin white fur, and thin pulse. This condition belongs to the spleen deficiency type, and the treatment needs to strengthen the spleen and retain blood. You can choose to use Codonopsis pilosula 15 grams, raw Astragalus 12 grams, Atractylodes macrocephala, donkey-hide gelatin (melted), Schizonepeta charcoal 10 grams each, Citrus aurantium 8 grams, Cimicifuga charcoal, roasted Licorice root 6 grams each, Bupleurum 5 grams, Cuttlebone, Agrimoniae 20 grams each decocted in water for oral administration.
