Postpartum high proteinuria

Postpartum high proteinuria

After ten months of pregnancy, a woman will eventually give birth to a baby and her body will enter a recovery period. At this time, many women find high urine protein when they go for a physical examination after the full month, and they don’t know what’s going on. High urine protein after delivery can be improved through diet. Since the baby is breastfeeding, it is not suitable for medication, so the baby can eat more vegetables and fruits, less oil and salt, and supplement more trace elements such as zinc.

Many female friends underwent physical examinations after giving birth and were found to have high urine protein. However, because they have to breastfeed their babies after delivery, they dare not take medicine casually for fear of harming their children. Therefore, many mothers are still quite anxious and don’t know how to deal with it. So what should they do if their urine protein is high after delivery?

If a woman has high urine protein after childbirth, she should pay special attention to her diet. She can adopt a reasonable diet to lower the urine protein level.

1. You can eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, less oil and salt, and appropriately supplement some trace elements such as calcium, zinc, and magnesium.

2. Women can also make carp soup to drink at ordinary times. When making the soup, it is best not to add salt, and you don’t need to eat the fish. Just drink the fish soup, which is very helpful for reducing swelling.

3. You can eat more soy products, but it is best to control the intake of starch and sugar foods and try to eat less.

4. Don’t stand or sit for too long. You should go outside every day to breathe fresh air. You can take a walk outside for 1 to 2 hours. Also make sure to get more rest.

It is common to have high urine protein after childbirth. When this phenomenon occurs, it may indicate that there is a kidney disease, because kidney disease is most likely to cause high urine protein. We must pay great attention to it, receive timely treatment, strengthen physical exercise, and take good care of the disease.
