Folic acid is a member of the vitamin B complex. If pregnant women do not receive adequate folic acid supplementation, it can easily lead to fetal malformations, intellectual disabilities, low birth weight in infants, and even miscarriage in severe cases. Pregnant women in the second trimester are prone to gestational hypertension, megaloblastic anemia, etc.

Supplement time: three months before pregnancy and three months after pregnancy. Supplementary amount: 400~800 micrograms per day. Avoid excessive intake.
