What happens if you remove your uterus?

Many diseases are untreatable for patients, and the need to perform surgery on the uterus is extremely helpless. If a woman has her uterus removed, there will be many impacts on her body, such as premature aging, dull skin, endocrine disorders, depression, etc., which are relatively common.

1. Premature aging

I believe everyone knows that women will go through menopause after menopause, which is one of the stages and signs that women have entered the aging stage. If the uterus is removed, the secretion of female estrogen will be affected, so most female friends will experience symptoms of reception.

2. Dull skin

For female friends, proper estrogen secretion is the key to our eternal beauty. However, if we have a hysterectomy, female estrogen secretion will gradually weaken. In this case, it will cause female skin to become dull and have various pigmentation problems.

3. Endocrine disorders

In fact, the female uterus is also involved in the female endocrine process, but if we remove the uterus, it will directly lead to female endocrine disorders and hormone nutrition imbalance. The harm caused by this situation can be imagined.

4. Depression

The endocrine regulation of the uterus and ovaries forms a feedback system with the central nervous system. After the hysterectomy, this feedback link is destroyed. In particular, when the estrogen level drops, it will interfere with the normal secretion and metabolism of central neurotransmitters, which can cause varying degrees of anxiety and depression symptoms, such as low mood, anxiety, lack of interest, insomnia, memory loss, etc., thereby reducing women's quality of life.

5. Affect the urinary system

The female urinary system is homologous to the reproductive system and is both an estrogen-dependent organ. After hysterectomy, the estrogen level decreases, which can cause the elastic tissue around the urethra to thin, resulting in urinary incontinence, atrophy of the urethral mucosa, decreased resistance, and easy induction of urinary tract infection, and a series of urinary tract irritation symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating.
