Can breast cysts become malignant?

Breast cyst is a relatively common disease in clinical practice. Of course, this disease can be cured as long as it is discovered in time and treated by a doctor in time. However, many women worry that their bodies are not treated thoroughly, which may result in further deterioration of breast cysts, or even that they may eventually develop breast cancer. So from a medical point of view, will breast cysts get worse?

Breast cysts are a very common breast disease, which usually occurs in women between the ages of 30 and 50. Breast cysts are generally caused by the accumulation of milk in the breasts during breastfeeding after giving birth, which leads to the formation of lumps over a long period of time.

Breast cyst is not a very serious disease and patients do not need to worry too much. Breast cysts generally do not cause cancer. If breast cysts are not treated for a long time, they may cause diseases such as mastitis, which can slowly lead to cancer.

If the symptoms of breast cysts are not very serious, they can generally be treated with traditional Chinese medicine. Patients can boil medicine with Polygonum multiflorum, yam, and Jusi every day. If the symptoms are severe, surgical removal of the tumor may be necessary.
