Vaginal bleeding after exercise

Vaginal bleeding after exercise

In fact, in daily life, women's vagina basically does not bleed except for monthly menstruation, but some women complain that there will be some blood in their genitals after exercise. On the one hand, many women who want to avoid pregnancy will have an IUD placed in their body. However, if the position of the IUD is displaced or infected, coupled with the stimulation during exercise, it is likely to cause it to scratch the inner wall and bleed. Gynecological inflammation is also another reason. The blood vessels in the vagina of women with gynecological inflammation are relatively fragile, and congestion during exercise will cause bleeding.

1. Causes of vaginal bleeding

(1) Vaginal bleeding after strenuous exercise is related to the intrauterine device

IUD insertion is a common method of contraception, but if relevant care measures are not taken after the placement of the IUD, causing the IUD to shift in the body or other problems, it may cause vaginal bleeding after strenuous exercise, and may also be accompanied by abnormal menstruation in women, so attention needs to be paid. If you experience any discomfort after inserting the IUD, it is recommended that you seek help from a gynecologist for relevant care in a timely manner.

(2) Vaginal bleeding after strenuous exercise is related to inflammation of the reproductive organs

Gynecological inflammation is an extremely common and highly prevalent disease in life. It is mainly caused by a series of uncomfortable symptoms caused by bacterial and viral infections in women's bodies. When gynecological inflammation occurs, women's menstruation may show abnormal symptoms, especially after strenuous exercise, vaginal bleeding problems are not uncommon due to the fragility of local blood vessels.

2. How to check vaginal bleeding

Laboratory examination: routine blood and urine examination. Patients of childbearing age often need to undergo urine or blood HCG testing to rule out pregnancy or pregnancy-related diseases. Depending on the situation, thyroid function, liver function, kidney function, coagulation function and sex hormone tests may also be required.

Cervical cytology and HPV testing: Those who have bleeding during sexual intercourse or cervical inflammation, polyps, and bleeding should undergo this examination, which can help diagnose early cervical cancer.

Ultrasound examination: B-ultrasound (transabdominal or transvaginal): Patients with uterine bleeding often need to undergo pelvic B-ultrasound examination to understand the size and shape of the uterus, the thickness of the endometrium, whether there are abnormal echoes in the uterine cavity, whether there are masses in the adnexal area and the characteristics of the masses, whether there is abdominal effusion, etc.

3. Treatment principles for vaginal bleeding

Etiological treatment: Treatment is targeted at the specific cause of the disease. Symptomatic treatment, mainly hemostatic treatment. If the amount of bleeding is large and the patient shows symptoms such as pale complexion, sweating, palpitations, and dry mouth, he should be sent to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment as soon as possible. Before arriving at the hospital, if the patient is feeling nauseous or vomiting, he or she should turn his or her face to one side to prevent suffocation.
