How to wipe alcohol after ear piercing

Many people envy people with pierced ears because they can wear beautiful earrings, but they don’t know that it will be painful for a while after the ear piercing. Appropriate care is needed to prevent local inflammation and redness and swelling. After the ear piercing, it is necessary to wipe alcohol and disinfect regularly. It will hurt at first, but it will gradually ease later.

Things to note after getting your ears pierced:

1. Do not get your ears exposed to water in the first three days after piercing to prevent infection: the earlobe should be kept dry and clean within 7-10 days. Avoid contact with dirty water and dirt when washing your face or hair. Avoid squeezing your ears when sleeping, and keep your ear holes dry and ventilated.

2. Prepare a bottle of alcohol and a pack of cotton swabs. Use the cotton swabs dipped in alcohol to wipe the wound every day. Wipe it two or three times a day. On the one hand, it can disinfect, and on the other hand, it can wipe off blood clots and other things to prevent the wound from being blocked.

3. After piercing your ears, you should rotate the ear stud every day to ensure that the ear hole can move. Otherwise, the ear stud will easily grow together with the wound. Keep rotating the ear needle every day to avoid adhesion between the ear needle and the skin and promote wound healing.

4. After three days, you can replace the earrings you are wearing and put on your own earrings. Remember to disinfect them with alcohol every day. Also, it is best not to wear ear plugs when you first wear ear studs, because ear plugs will affect the recovery of the ear holes. It can also easily cause ear holes to get infected, so it's best not to wear them. As long as the earrings don't fall off, there's no need to wear ear plugs. Do not fasten the ear needles and needle holders too tightly, otherwise it will easily cause swelling. It is best to leave a certain gap.

5. Generally, ear piercings can be completely healed in three months. During this period, it is best to disinfect them with alcohol every day. If you feel that there is no problem with the ear piercing, there is no need to disinfect it.

6. Do not wear earrings within three months, because during this period, the ear holes have not healed well, and wearing earrings may easily cause the ear holes to deform.

7. After the operation, disinfect the wound with 75% alcohol 1-2 times a day. You can also take vitamin C orally to help wound healing.

8. After getting your ears pierced, don’t take your earrings off for about six weeks;

9. If there is any inflammation or infection after piercing, you should seek medical attention as soon as possible.

10. Be careful when sleeping. It is best to lie on your back. If the ear hole is pressed, it will be very painful. Wear a thicker one, and the part that passes through the ear hole should be thicker, because if you wear a thin ear hole, it will get smaller as it grows.
