Skin inflammation vaginal discharge HIV

The female vagina is the female reproductive and sexual organ, which is connected to the internal body organs such as the uterus and ovaries. Usually, two normal physiological reactions will occur: leucorrhea and menstruation. Normal leucorrhea is a milky white viscous substance. When a woman's body is infected by bacteria, causing gynecological diseases or body inflammation, the leucorrhea will often become abnormal, alerting us to the possibility of inflammation in the body.

1. Normal leucorrhea should be milky white or colorless and transparent, with a slight fishy smell or no smell; the amount and texture of the secretion are affected by the level of estrogen and progesterone in the body, and the amount of secretion and the texture change periodically with the menstrual cycle. There will be some. If someone else is infected, you will be infected when you share a bath towel. Generally, the amount of leucorrhea is small after the menstrual period; before the ovulation period, due to the increase in the level of estrogen in the body, the epithelial cells of the cervical glands proliferate, the secretion of cervical mucus increases, the sodium chloride content in the mucus increases, and it can absorb more water, so that the leucorrhea increases during the ovulation period, the texture is thin, the color is clear, and the appearance is like egg white, which can be stretched into long threads;

2. After ovulation, the estrogen level gradually decreases, the progesterone level increases, the secretion of cervical mucus is inhibited, and the content of sodium chloride in the mucus also decreases, making the leucorrhea thick, milky white, less ductile, and easy to break. In addition, there are also some physiological phenomena such as pregnancy and oral contraceptives, which will increase leucorrhea. The reason is also related to the changes in the estrogen and progesterone levels in the body. Leucorrhea is a kind of sticky white liquid that flows out of women's vagina. It is a mixture of the secretions of the Bartholin's glands, cervical glands, endometrial secretions, vaginal mucosal exudates, and sloughed vaginal epithelial cells. During sexual intercourse, leucorrhea will increase, which has a lubricating effect on the vagina and facilitates sexual intercourse.

3. Generally, the amount of leucorrhea increases in the middle of the menstrual cycle, and it is thin and transparent. After ovulation, the leucorrhea becomes thick, turbid and less in quantity. The amount of leucorrhea increases before and during pregnancy. It occurs in non-primate mammals during estrus. Abnormal leucorrhea refers to increased secretion or abnormal characteristics (under normal circumstances, the vagina and vulva often have a small amount of secretions to keep moist, which is called leucorrhea; it is composed of vaginal mucosal exudates, cervical glands and endometrial secretions, and contains vaginal epithelial exfoliated cells and white blood cells. It is white, thin, paste-like or egg white-like, highly viscous, without fishy odor, small in quantity, and has no adverse effects on women's health. It is called physiological leucorrhea. It is related to changes in the body's physiological conditions. If a woman has white mucus like mucus or saliva flowing out of her vagina, accompanied by systemic or local symptoms, it is called pathological leucorrhea, which is mostly caused by physical weakness or phlegm and dampness, which is equivalent to vaginitis in Western medicine, but routine examination of leucorrhea often does not find pathogenic bacteria. Abnormal leucorrhea is manifested by changes in color, quality and quantity.
