What causes pelvic pain in women

The pelvis is a very important part of the female body structure, mainly a very important part of the female reproductive organs. Many people also know that the female pelvis is very fragile. Sometimes some women will experience symptoms of pelvic pain. When this happens, many people are worried about what kind of problem has occurred in their body, but they don’t know what to do. So what is the reason for the pelvic pain people feel in their daily lives?

Women's pelvic pain is more common in these six situations

● Appendicitis

Clinical manifestations include severe right lower abdominal pain, nausea, and fever. Once the appendix becomes inflamed, it should be removed surgically in time, otherwise other organs will be infected and life-threatening.

● When ovulation occurs

The follicles store mature eggs during the menstrual period and release them during ovulation. Occasionally, the follicles may not ovulate or may not close after ovulation, resulting in swelling and forming ovarian cysts. Generally it is not a big problem, but larger cysts can cause pelvic pain, weight gain, frequent urination, etc.

● Ectopic pregnancy

Ectopic pregnancy refers to the phenomenon that the fertilized egg implants and grows and develops outside the uterus. Symptoms of ectopic pregnancy include severe pelvic pain, vaginal bleeding, nausea, etc. If an ectopic pregnancy occurs, treatment must be sought immediately to avoid life-threatening consequences.

● Pelvic inflammatory disease

Pelvic inflammatory disease can cause sexual damage to the uterus, ovaries, and fallopian tubes. It is also one of the more preventable factors that lead to female infertility. The main symptoms include abdominal pain, fever, abnormal vaginal discharge, pain during sexual intercourse or urination, etc.

● Pelvic pain during menstruation

If you experience tingling pain during your period, it could be because your body is ovulating. During ovulation, the ovary releases the egg along with the blood, causing pain in the abdominal wall. This pain usually ends within a few hours.

● Premenstrual pelvic pain

PMS can cause mood changes and increased appetite, but it can also cause abdominal pain, back pain, headaches, etc. Hormonal changes may be the cause of these symptoms. Excessive stress, lack of exercise, and a poor diet can also aggravate pain symptoms.

In addition, some women may also experience pelvic pain when they have uterine fibroids, kidney stones, urinary tract infections, or endometrial tissue growing outside the uterus in the ovaries, fallopian tubes, bladder, intestines, etc. Therefore, what you need to do at this time is to go to the hospital in time to find out the cause and treat it symptomatically.
