How long does it take for menstruation to occur after follicle atrophy?

Follicular atrophy has little to do with menstruation. Generally speaking, menstruation is closely related to the last menstruation. As long as women are healthy, menstruation is relatively regular, especially when menstruation is about to come, certain symptoms will appear, which may cause headaches and swollen breasts. Vaginal secretions will increase, mood swings will be prone to occur, etc.

How long does it take for menstruation to occur after follicle atrophy?

There is no direct relationship between the atrophy of follicles and normal menstruation. Normal menstruation is closely related to the previous menstruation. Generally, the next menstruation occurs 21-35 days after the end of the last menstruation, and on average 28 days. However, it is also normal to have a week earlier or later.

Under normal menstrual cycles, ovulation usually occurs between two menstrual periods. However, due to the uncertainty of ovulation, the next menstrual period cannot be determined based on follicular atrophy.

Premenstrual symptoms

What are the symptoms before menstruation? I believe that every woman will have some "warning signals" before menstruation. What are these "warning signals"? Let me introduce them below!

1. Water retention. Many women will experience edema before their period. Common areas of edema are the hands, feet, eyelids, etc. Some women may also gain a slight weight due to edema.

2. Premenstrual headache. This symptom is more obvious and often occurs a few days before menstruation, and may be accompanied by nausea, vomiting, etc. Premenstrual headaches may be persistent or come and go, which may be related to intermittent intracranial edema.

3. Pelvic pain. Before menstruation, some women will experience pelvic distension and lumbar pain, which is mainly caused by the action of the prostate or congestion of pelvic tissues.

4. Breast pain. I believe that many women have encountered this situation. In the days before menstruation, they often feel fullness, swelling and pain in the breasts, mostly on the outer edge of the breasts and the nipple area. This condition usually disappears with the onset of menstruation.

5. Moods easily fluctuate. Before menstruation, women's moods often change greatly, and they are prone to becoming irritable. Even over trivial matters, they will quarrel and cry and lose control of themselves. Once your period ends, things will get better soon.
