What to do if a woman is often constipated

Some girls are always troubled by constipation. In public places, there are always fewer toilets for girls and girls always have to queue up to use the toilet. If a person takes up the toilet for a certain period of time, he will be looked at differently by others and will be very embarrassed. There are many reasons for constipation, which are generally related to daily diet. If you eat spicy food, constipation is likely to occur. Of course, there are also some diseases that can cause constipation. So, what should women do if they often suffer from constipation?

1. Excessive mental stress

The fast pace of life, excessive work and mental stress are the root causes. Neurotic people are most susceptible to this, especially when on business trips, when the brain's defecation center is inhibited, and constipation and diarrhea often occur alternately.

2. Lack of physical activity

Sitting in the office for a long time and lack of physical activity will relax the intestinal muscles and weaken the peristaltic function. In addition, women have weaker abdominal muscles and less power to push out stool. Therefore, intestinal contents accumulate in the intestine for too long, and the water is absorbed, becoming hard stool that is difficult to expel.

3. Improper nutrition

People often fail to eat regularly and have no time to take in a balanced diet. In addition, they often eat out in restaurants, and their food lacks vegetables and crude fiber.

4. Bad bowel habits

When you are busy and stressful at work, or when time is tight in the morning, you often have to hold back your bowel movements even if you feel the urge to do so. As a result, when there is stool in the rectum again, the sensory nerves become dull, causing habitual constipation.

5. Frequently eating too little

When dieting to lose weight, people only eat very little food at each meal, which results in too little intestinal contents and insufficient volume to stimulate the brain's defecation center and cause a defecation reflex.

6. Not paying enough attention to drinking water

When life is stressful, we forget to drink more water, which results in the waste residue produced in the intestines drying up, causing the feces to be wet and hard, making it difficult to excrete.

Constipation mainly refers to a decrease in the frequency of bowel movements, with bowel movements less than 4-6 times a week, or only once every 2-3 days. It is called constipation when the stool is small in volume and dry. Medically, constipation is a common complex symptom in clinical practice, rather than a disease. It mainly refers to reduced frequency of bowel movements, reduced stool volume, dry stool, and difficulty in defecation.
