For example, Asian countries such as China and Vietnam have a postpartum care process called "zuoyuezi", which has quite a lot of care taboos. However, even in Europe and the United States, postpartum care is increasingly valued. For example, preventing and treating postpartum depression can be considered one of the new goals of postpartum care.

Postpartum Oral Care

Many older generations always remind mothers not to brush their teeth during the month of confinement, otherwise "one tooth will be lost for each baby born". This actually reflects the harm of pregnant women not paying attention to oral and dental hygiene. Some people mistakenly believe that pregnant women cannot brush their teeth, which is also the reason for tooth loss in pregnant women. Traditional customs believe that brushing teeth after childbirth can cause toothache, which is exactly the opposite of the medical science. In fact, if you don't brush your teeth, dirt will not be removed in time, which will increase the occurrence of oral diseases such as caries and periodontitis and cause toothache.

After pregnancy, due to endocrine changes or insufficient vitamin C intake, women may have congested and edematous gums and easy bleeding, especially when brushing their teeth.

Postpartum pelvic correction and abdominal muscle recovery care are gradually being paid attention to by people. A good choice can indeed help the recovery of loose abdominal muscles and pelvis after childbirth. Pelvic correction belts include Japanese belt type, French oheman diamond type, gauze bandage type, etc.; abdominal belts include ordinary type, professional functional type, several-piece sets (zongzi abdominal belt), gauze wrapping type, etc.

Double diamond form: also known as double diamond form pelvic belt, it is invented by combining diamond mechanical structure with ergonomics and biomechanics principles. It is a more scientific pelvic correction belt today, which can maximize the effect of assisting pelvic contraction. It is also relatively simple, convenient, comfortable, natural, scientific and practical to use, and is more favored by obstetricians.

Two-strap type: This type is made of two straps, which is relatively simple and ordinary. When using it, one strap is tied around the lower back and the other around the base of the legs. Although it seems non-slip, it will increase the burden on the lumbar spine and the hip-tightening effect is not ideal.

Gauze wrapping type: Although this type of method was used early, it is more troublesome to use and the number of users has gradually decreased. In some postpartum care centers, professionals still help mothers use it. When wrapping around the abdomen, the hips are also wrapped to achieve the effect of tightening the pelvis.
