Girls' ribs turned outward

Girls with rib valgus generally do not require special correction. The ribs of the human body will not be completely ossified until around the age of 25, and before the age of 25, the ribs of many people are still made of cartilage. The ribs are spherical in shape, and the cartilage ribs that have not yet ossified have good elasticity, so their spherical bends are much smaller than those of fully ossified ribs. When viewed from the surface of the body, they will appear as rib valgus.

Once all the cartilaginous ribs have been ossified, the ribs will gradually form normal arcuate bends, and the symptom of rib valgus will naturally disappear. Sometimes, some external factors cannot affect when the ribs ossify. Therefore, if you want to quickly relieve the symptoms of rib valgus, you need to have a good lifestyle, high-quality nutritional intake, sufficient and high-quality sleep time, and properly carry out sports that you are good at, so that you can correct rib valgus from the source.

Rib valgus refers to the condition in which the outermost rib exceeds the edge of the human body. Rib valgus occurs because the two ribs just below the shoulder blade are not connected to the shoulder blade. It is only when a child's abdominal movements are relatively strong during breathing and the ribs are relatively soft that rib valgus occurs. There are two reasons for the baby's rib eversion: one is the baby's normal physiological development stage, and the other is simple rib hypoplasia. Many people think that rib valgus is the clinical symptom of rickets, but the clinical symptom of rickets does not include rib valgus, but only channel-like costal cartilage. The way to confirm the diagnosis is to let the child lie flat.

When the outermost ribs extend beyond the edge of the human body, it is called rib valgus. The baby's ribs have a physiological outward curvature, which will gradually become closer to that of adults as they grow and develop. It may also be that the ribs are incompletely developed. Therefore, rib valgus is not equivalent to rickets, and the clinical symptoms of rickets do not include rib valgus. If this happens to a child when he is relatively young, it may be due to rib hypoplasia, or he may mistakenly think that the ribs are flared, or it may be due to rib cartilage epiphysis. Therefore, it is necessary to check whether there is any nutritional deficiency. If the child is older, surgical treatment can be considered after examination.
