Pregnancy is a very long process. It basically takes ten months of pregnancy for a baby to be born from the mother's body. 1. Causes of pubic pain

1. Before pregnancy, the pregnant mother did not undergo a detailed spinal and pelvic examination. She may suffer from spinal disease, periarthritis of the shoulder, back pain, etc., and may experience pubic pain after pregnancy.

2. Before pregnancy, if the pregnant mother had bow legs, had leg injuries, or had symptoms such as pubic pain and tenderness in the groin, these may also leave hidden dangers and lead to pubic pain after pregnancy.

3. If the pelvis is fractured or displaced due to trauma before pregnancy, the chance of pubic pain during pregnancy is very high, so pregnant mothers should pay more attention.

4. Having multiple babies puts a huge burden on pregnant mothers, especially the pubic area, which has to bear great pressure and is easily damaged and causes pain symptoms.

5. If a pregnant mother is thin and is carrying an overweight baby, she is more likely to experience pubic pain during and after pregnancy.

6. The use of forceps can also cause pubic pain in pregnant mothers. You should be extra careful and try to avoid using them, otherwise it will affect the birth of a second child.

2. Clinical manifestations

The main symptom is severe pain in the pubic symphysis of pregnant women, which is aggravated by activities or turning over. Some patients experience pain in the lower back, back, and groin area, difficulty walking, and a duck-like gait.

3. Inspection

1. Physical signs

Examination revealed localized, fixed tenderness above the pubic symphysis, a widened gap could be felt at the pubic symphysis, and the pelvic compression-distraction test was positive.

2. Auxiliary examination

Ultrasound examination showed that the distance between the pubic symphysis was more than 10mm.

4. Diagnosis

1. Back pain in pregnant women

Refers to symptoms such as back pain during pregnancy.

2. Stomach pain in pregnant women

Stomach pain in pregnant women is pain in the epigastric area near the heart or a strong burning sensation in the stomach.

5. Treatment

1. For patients with severe symptoms and gestational age less than 37 weeks, bed rest should be given to alleviate the symptoms.

2. The disease occurs in the late pregnancy due to severe pain, inability to stand and walk, and delivery is ended by cesarean section. The patient must rest in bed after the operation, choose a hard bed, and give local symptomatic support. After delivery, a pelvic belt is used to fix the patient until the symptoms disappear.
