How many degrees of cervical erosion are there?

Women's bodies are relatively weak. The health of women's private parts cannot be ignored. Many female friends suffer from gynecological diseases because they do not pay attention to their own physical health. Suffering from gynecological diseases is very harmful to women's health. Especially cervical erosion caused by not paying attention to private hygiene. Next, let’s take a look at how cervical erosion varies in degrees.

Cervical erosion is divided into three degrees: mild, moderate and severe.

1: First, a cervical smear should be done to rule out precancerous lesions. Then a pathological examination of cervical secretions is performed to confirm which pathogen is causing the disease.

2: If necessary, pathogen culture + drug sensitivity test can be performed to select sensitive drugs for treatment. Drug treatment includes local and systemic medications.

3: For mild cases, you can temporarily not treat it or use drugs such as uterine suppositories for treatment; for moderate to severe cervicitis, physical therapy is better. Such as: laser, microwave, Bohm light, LEEP knife, etc. Using the LEEP knife will not affect future fertility.

4: Sexual intercourse is prohibited during treatment.

Cervical erosion is divided into three degrees: mild: the erosion area is less than 1/3 of the entire cervical area.

Moderate: It means that the erosion area occupies 1/3 to 2/3 of the entire cervical area.

Severe: It means that the erosion area occupies more than 2/3 of the entire cervical area. If the condition is severe, treatment such as suppositories may be needed.

Cervical erosion is a common gynecological disease. The causes of the disease include mechanical stimulation or injury, such as sexual intercourse, miscarriage and childbirth lacerations, and bacterial invasion leading to cervicitis. The main symptoms are increased leucorrhea, which is often purulent. There may be pain in the lower abdomen and lumbosacral region and bladder irritation symptoms. Patients with more severe erosion may have varying degrees of pale bloody secretions, typically after sexual intercourse. The sticky purulent secretions of the cervix are not conducive to the passage of sperm and can cause infertility.
