Female vulvar herpes is also known as genital herpes. There are many causes of this genital herpes. The most common one is infection due to unclean sexual life. If the lifestyle is too decadent, it is easy to cause this. In addition, if you come into contact with some daily necessities of the patient, such as toilets in public places, or other items, it may also induce female vulvar herpes.

Causes of vulvar herpes in women

1. Unclean sex life: Through observation, it is found that men’s unclean sex life can also cause the occurrence of this disease. If you want to prevent sexually transmitted diseases, you must be self-conscious and self-reflective and stop prostitution, so as to stay away from the harm of genital herpes.

2. Related to traumatic infection: If a man has physical trauma, such as surgery, he may be infected with herpes due to careless operation. A weakened immune system can also lead to herpes symptoms.

3. Not paying attention to hygiene: The virus of this disease can spread to the patient under any unhygienic conditions. All used items may be contaminated by the patient's secretions and carry the germs. If normal people do not pay attention and come into contact with these items contaminated with pathogens, they are very likely to be infected.

How to Prevent Genital Herpes

2. After people come into contact with daily items used by herpes patients, such as underwear, toothbrushes, towels, bath towels, etc., they should disinfect and wash their hands in time.

3. When herpes spreads or the condition worsens, the partner should also be diagnosed and treated together, and the family members of the herpes patient should be examined together to avoid secondary infection or cross infection.

Symptoms and signs

At the beginning, there is local pain and difficulty urinating. The mucous membranes of the vulva, vagina, and cervix are red and swollen, with white patches. Ulcers may also form, covered with gray-yellow pseudomembranes. There may be scattered blisters on the skin near the vulva. Inguinal lymph nodes are swollen and tender. Other symptoms may include fever, myalgia, or meningitis.

In recent years, male homosexuality has been prevalent abroad, and infection with HSVⅡ has caused male anorectal inflammation. The clinical manifestations are anal and rectal pain, which is more serious than rectal infection caused by other reasons. Other symptoms include constipation, rectal secretions, tenesmus and fever. Some patients have blisters or ulcers around the anus, and rectal secretion smears contain many neutrophils. Sigmoidoscopy examination often shows congestion and bleeding of the lower rectal mucosa, and occasionally small ulcers.
