Is it useful to eat leeks when weaning?

Is it useful to eat leeks when weaning?

Many mothers will go through a period of weaning. At this time, they will appear very anxious, worrying about the impact on themselves and their babies. In fact, at this time, the relief effect can be achieved through food. Eating leeks is useful during weaning, which can replenish milk. You can also drink more dairy products, which is also good for your body.

1. Choice of food during weaning period

① Complete range of nutrients and appropriate proportions

② Does not contain any hormones, saccharin pigments

③Good taste, easy to digest and absorb

④In principle, chop and cook until soft. Avoid fried or spicy food to avoid blocking the milk line. If blocked, you can drink some milk-clearing products.

2. Dairy products are needed every day

3. Food diversification, you can match the following foods for reference only:

A staple food - porridge, pasta (noodles, wontons, dumplings, buns, etc.)

A protein supplement - beans, meat, poultry, fish, eggs, milk, etc.

A supplementary food containing minerals and vitamins - vegetables and fruits

A supplementary food that can provide energy - 5-10 grams of oil, 10-20 grams of sugar

4. Eat 5 times a day

Three meals plus two snacks, plus milk, and a little fresh fish, meat, beans, and eggs every day can ensure enough protein and calories to meet the baby's growth and development needs.

It is recommended to take vitamin B6 tablets orally to stop breastfeeding during weaning. Take 200 mg each time, three times a day. Generally, results can be seen in 3-5 days. Or you can use raw Chinese medicine malt to make tea, but don't use cooked malt, as cooked malt can actually promote lactation. What should be noted when taking medicine for weaning is that although mothers with excessive milk secretion can choose to take medicine or injections to achieve the effect of weaning, it is recommended not to take injections or medications unless it is absolutely necessary. Because the drugs may damage the mammary glands, causing them to atrophy, and affecting milk production when giving birth to another baby.

When weaning, do not eat papaya, peanuts and other milk-producing foods, drink less soup, and eat more foods such as fried malt boiled water and leeks, which can stop milk production.

1. Boil raw malt in water and drink malt tea when you want to drink water. (Don't drink other water. Drinking other water will also increase milk production. Remember this!)

2. Take 20 vitamin B6 capsules three times a day. (Although B6 tastes bad, it is much better than breast engorgement pain, so be sure to stick to it.)

3. Use gauze to make two round bags, hollow out the middle (coin-shaped). The size depends on the size of your breasts. Do not seal the bags first, put in saltpeter, and then seal them.

4. Empty the milk (whether you use a breast pump or feed it to your baby, make sure to completely empty the milk). Apply the leather bag to both breasts and secure it with a tighter bra. It is best to put a breast pad on the bra to prevent the clothes from getting wet.

5. The saltpeter bag will melt after a period of time. If it gets wet, it must be replaced in time, so make an extra pair for backup.
