Why can't leucorrhea be discharged?

Why can't leucorrhea be discharged?

Whether leucorrhea is normal or not mainly depends on the amount of secretion, color of secretion, texture of secretion and smell of secretion. Take the amount of leucorrhea secretion for example. Generally, the amount is relatively small, but it may increase or decrease before and after the menstrual period. Normally, there is no problem of not being able to discharge leucorrhea. Leucorrhea cannot be discharged, that is, the amount is gone, which is definitely not normal. So what exactly causes this abnormality?

1. What are the abnormalities of leucorrhea?

1. Colorless, transparent, sticky leucorrhea: Similar to egg white, or slightly turbid, but except for the increase of leucorrhea, there are rarely other symptoms. This kind of leucorrhea is more common in chronic cervicitis, endocervicitis and after the use of estrogen.

2. Yellow-green foamy leucorrhea: After taking a bath in a public bath or using a public bath towel or bathtub, grayish white or grayish yellow foamy leucorrhea with a sour odor appears, and you should consider whether you have been infected with Trichomonas vaginitis.

3. Leucorrhea has an unpleasant smell, a fishy smell: Some vaginitis is caused by Haemophilus vaginalis, and the leucorrhea has a special fishy smell. At the same time, it is accompanied by symptoms such as vaginal burning, pain, itching, and vulva moisture. Most of them are vaginitis caused by anaerobic bacteria infection, Trichomonas infection or Haemophilus vaginalis infection.

2. Routine examination methods for leucorrhea

1. Amine test: The leucorrhea of women with bacterial vaginosis may have a fishy odor, which is caused by the amines in the leucorrhea being volatilized after being alkalized with potassium hydroxide.

2. Microbiological examination: Fungi, Trichomonas, Neisseria gonorrhoeae and other items will be checked. If the corresponding microorganisms are found during the examination, the result will be indicated as "+", otherwise it will be "-".

3. Clue cells: Clue cells are a relatively sensitive and specific indicator of bacterial vaginosis. Clinicians can make a diagnosis of bacterial vaginosis based on a positive amine test and the presence of clue cells.

3. What are the misunderstandings about self-medication for abnormal leucorrhea?

1: Use Chinese patent medicine. Because traditional medicine is deeply rooted in people's minds, many women are accustomed to seeking help from Chinese patent medicine when they have symptoms such as abnormal leucorrhea. However, Chinese patent medicine takes a long time to take effect and is not very targeted. If it is used as the first choice of treatment, it will not only cause the spread of inflammation but also delay the disease.

2: Blind use of medicine: Some women do not pay attention to abnormal leucorrhea and go directly to the pharmacy to buy medicine for self-treatment. Sometimes they do not receive timely treatment and miss the best time for treatment. Some women even abuse antibiotics, which will affect their health. Blindly choosing the wrong medicine for treatment will make the already fragile self-protection system worse.

3: Treatment is not carried out according to the course of treatment. When self-medicating, women often judge the effectiveness of the treatment based on their subjective feelings. Many gynecological inflammations have relatively strict treatment courses. If you do not follow the course of treatment, the condition may rebound again.
