What's wrong with the brown stringy vaginal discharge?

A woman's leucorrhea is a barometer of her health. Why do we say that? Many times when diagnosing gynecological diseases, doctors will often make a preliminary judgment and find the cause of the disease by observing or asking women whether their leucorrhea is normal. Generally speaking, when a woman is healthy, her vaginal discharge is clear and transparent. So, what causes the brownish white hairline?

The brown stringy discharge is because it contains blood. Leucorrhea is a physiological manifestation of women and can reflect their physical health. Once leucorrhea becomes abnormal, it means that there is a problem with the body.

Brown blood in leucorrhea may be caused by the following gynecological diseases. The details are as follows:

1. Cervical cancer: There is a small amount of bleeding or increased vaginal discharge after sexual intercourse.

2. Cervical polyps: Cervical polyps are a manifestation of chronic cervicitis. The main symptoms are yellow leucorrhea, odorous leucorrhea, bloody leucorrhea, etc.

3. Acute vaginitis: The main symptoms are increased leucorrhea, which is yellow or purulent and has a foul odor. When the infection is severe, vaginal bleeding may occur.

4. Severe cervical erosion: The main symptoms are increased vaginal discharge, which is yellow, sticky and smelly, accompanied by vulvar itching, bleeding during sexual intercourse, lumbar pain, dysmenorrhea, etc.

5. Endometrial cancer: The clinical manifestations are irregular bleeding, with the amount of bleeding varying from time to time. Premenopausal women may have heavy menstrual flow and prolonged duration, while postmenopausal women may experience postmenopausal bleeding.

However, women with ovulation bleeding must rule out other reproductive tract diseases, such as irregular menstruation, cervical erosion, cervical polyps, cervical cancer, endometrial polyps, submucous uterine fibroids, endometrial adenocarcinoma, etc.

We all know the reasons for abnormal leucorrhea during ovulation. Therefore, during the ovulation period, we should also pay attention to our leucorrhea. Once any abnormality is found, we can take corresponding treatment measures in time.
