What does a normal uterus look like?

Women's uterus needs to be well maintained, which is related to women's health and also to women's appearance, but in fact most women do not know what a normal uterus feels like, and the uterus is the only organ that creates the fetus and causes menstruation. It is also an important organ of the human body. Because of it, humans can survive. Let's discuss what the normal uterus looks like.

The uterus is a part of the female internal reproductive organs, located in the center of the pelvis. It is shaped like an inverted pear, small at the top, middle and bottom, about the same size as a fist. It is divided into three parts: the fundus, the uterine body and the cervix. It is connected by four tendons to maintain its position in the pelvis and is not easily changed.

The tendons are the round ligament, latissimus dorsi, myofascial tendon and sacral tendon. The uterus also has a cavity with a capacity of about 5 ml, which contains the uterine wall. The endometrium plays a more important role and becomes thicker with the changes of the menstrual cycle. The endometrium is thinner during the 7 days of the clean menstrual period and becomes thicker in the second half of the period. Changes in the thickness of the endometrium are also preparations for pregnancy and are a prerequisite for normal menstruation. The uterus undergoes menstrual changes due to changes in the ovaries, and can also become diseased due to environmental and dietary factors.

Whether the uterus is anterior or posterior does not have a very practical significance. The position of the uterus has no significant effect on the future cover picture. As long as there is no inflammation, then it is fine. If the final diagnosis of a normal uterine B-ultrasound shows no abnormalities, then generally there is nothing wrong.

An anterior uterus means that the cervix is downward toward the posterior fornix of the vagina. It is located lower in the body, so during intercourse, semen is easily concentrated there, and the cervix is easily soaked by semen, which makes it easier for sperm to cross the cervical opening to meet the egg and become pregnant. Therefore, an anterior uterus has a higher chance of pregnancy. Therefore, an anterior position of the uterus is better, while a posterior position of the uterus is very prone to back pain and is not suitable for pregnancy.

The ratio of the uterus and cervix of growing women is 2:1. Generally, the uterus of most women is in an extended and flexed state, just like lying in the pelvis. Located in the center of the pelvis, with the bladder in front and the duodenum behind, the uterine horns on both sides are connected to the fallopian tubes and uterus and ovaries, and the bottom is connected to the vagina.
