Nipple discharge on bra

Nipple discharge on bra

Some women may encounter an embarrassing problem in life, that is, there is white secretion on the bra they wear. Most women think that it is caused by sweating. In fact, this may also be a physical reason. There are also some pathological reasons that can cause white secretions on the bra. For example, breast inflammation can also cause this situation, so in daily life, if female friends find secretions on their bras, they should pay attention to their physical condition. Here are some reasons why you may have nipple discharge from your bra.

1. Breast hyperplasia

Cysplasia of the breast is neither a tumor nor an inflammation. From a histological point of view, it is the hyperplasia and degeneration of breast tissue, which is closely related to endocrine dysfunction. This disease is more common in middle-aged women, but it also occurs in adolescents and postmenopausal women. Today, 50%-70% of working women in big cities have varying degrees of breast hyperplasia. Fibrocystic breast disease is often manifested by breast pain and breast nodules. The harm lies not in the disease itself, but in the psychological pressure, and the worry that one may have breast cancer or will develop cancer in the future. There are many pathological types of breast hyperplasia, such as simple lobular hyperplasia (accounting for the majority of breast hyperplasia). As long as you pay attention to adjusting your mentality and relieving stress, it may gradually improve. If lobular hyperplasia of the breast is accompanied by ductal epithelial hyperplasia and presents severe atypia, it is a precancerous lesion (accounting for a very small proportion) and requires active treatment and regular examinations to prevent the disease before it occurs.

2. Mastitis

Papilitis is an inflammatory disease of the nipple skin and glands caused by low estrogen secretion, which causes the nipple skin to shrink and become thinner and easily damaged, and bacteria to invade and infect the damaged areas. Mastitis is more common in lactating women, and its main symptoms are redness, swelling and cracking of the nipples.

3. Nipple discharge

Nipple discharge is a common symptom of breast disease and can be divided into physiological discharge and pathological discharge. Physiological discharge refers to lactation during pregnancy and lactation, bilateral nipple discharge caused by oral contraceptives or sedatives, and unilateral or bilateral small amounts of discharge in postmenopausal women. Pathological discharge refers to intermittent or persistent nipple discharge from one or more ducts on one or both sides under non-physiological circumstances, lasting from months to years.
