1. Five-grain porridge

Preparation method: black beans, red beans, soybeans, black rice, millet, kidney beans, lotus seeds, mung beans, red-skinned peanuts, glutinous rice, corn kernels, and brown rice. This porridge can be cooked with any grains, a small handful of each. You must eat soybeans in small amounts and don't eat too much during pregnancy, otherwise it will cause breast swelling and pain. Job's tears rice is a good thing, but don't eat it during pregnancy as it is said to cause miscarriage. Soak the grains during dinner, put them in an electric clay cooker and simmer them over low heat before going to bed, and you can drink them when you wake up the next morning.

2. Millet porridge

Preparation method: Millet, five or six red dates, a small amount of Codonopsis pilosula and a small amount of Astragalus membranaceus. Put these ingredients together, cook them until they are soft and thick, and then you can drink them. Ten minutes before serving, you can add a handful of wolfberries. This porridge replenishes qi and blood.

3. Five-grain soy milk

Method: Five-grain soy milk is made by soaking the ingredients of five-grain porridge and then putting them into a soy milk maker to make soy milk.

4. Red bean and peanut porridge

Method: red beans, black rice, and red-skinned peanuts. These three are very blood-enriching foods. Pregnant women can eat more of them. It must be red-skinned peanuts for better effects.

5. Vegetable noodles

Method: Mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, tofu, and noodles. Wash and cut all the vegetables. Rinse the spinach separately, then put them together into the pan and stir-fry until cooked. Boil the noodles in water and put them into a bowl. After stir-frying the vegetables, pour them on the noodles and eat. The vegetables in this vegetable noodle can be paired with different dishes. Fungi are good things and should be eaten often.

6. A good harvest

Method: Fresh peanuts, water chestnuts, iron stick yam (ordinary yam is also OK if there is no iron stick yam), sweet potato or purple sweet potato, fresh corn

Wash fresh peanuts in shells, wash water chestnuts without peeling them, wash yam without peeling them, cut them into sections together with potatoes and corn, and steam them all in a steamer. They will be cooked after twenty minutes. When eating, the water chestnut should be peeled and eaten, but the iron stick yam should not be peeled and eaten with the skin, as it is said that all the nutrients are in the skin and whiskers.
