What causes stomach pain during menstruation?

Women's menstruation is also called the physiological period. During this period, you must be careful no matter what you do, because this is the time when the female body is relatively weak and it is easy to be invaded by diseases. Sometimes, the biggest feeling women have during their menstrual period is pain. Dysmenorrhea is actually a disease that requires timely treatment. Some women always feel stomach pain during their menstrual period. Why is this?

Why does it only hurt during menstruation and not at other times? Because menstruation is a very physically demanding process. Not only is it necessary to expel blood, but energy is also needed to allow the intrauterine mucosa to fall off. Where does this energy come from? Energy needs to be brought by blood. Note: This blood is not discharged, but transports energy. Normal people use blood to transport energy without affecting other functions, but if you have a cold body, poor blood circulation or even ischemia (not anemia, which may not be that serious, but it is the common ischemia of girls during menstruation), it will affect the functioning of other organs. Because the uterus needs to draw blood from surrounding organs to maintain its function. But other organs also need blood as nutrition to stay healthy. The blood is diverted away by the uterus and they become abnormal.

To give a simple example, if a city does not have enough troops for a war, it can transfer troops from surrounding cities. If you transfer soldiers from the surrounding cities, that city will not have enough soldiers and will fall into chaos.

So when your menstrual period comes, the blood that maintains the normal functioning of your stomach is diverted to perform the emergency tasks of your uterus. Of course, your stomach will feel uncomfortable. Moreover, if you have a cold body, your blood will not flow smoothly, and the blood that should go to your uterus will not reach there. Instead, it will divert blood from your stomach or large intestine.
