Where does a female chancre grow?

Chancroid is very harmful. It usually occurs in the genitals of women, but it can also occur in other parts of the body. Syphilis is very contagious, even with condoms. Although chancre can cause skin ulcers, early stage patients will not experience this symptom. Its growth location is not fixed and it may spread to the anus, which is unpredictable and the treatment is also complicated.

Syphilis is a very harmful sexually transmitted disease caused by Treponema pallidum. Clinically, syphilis is divided into primary, secondary (early) and tertiary (late) syphilis.

Primary syphilis

Two to three weeks after having sexual intercourse with a syphilis patient, single or multiple hard, red lumps may appear on the genitals or other parts of the body. They are painless and itchy, and the surface is often ulcerated. Medically, they are called chancres. At this time, the lymph nodes in the groin and other places are often swollen, which is primary syphilis.

When suffering from primary syphilis, the bacteria are still confined to a local area and have not yet spread throughout the body. In other words, the disease is on the surface and has not yet entered the body. This is a good time for treatment. If standardized syphilis treatment is carried out during this period, the disease can be 100% cured.

Secondary syphilis

If this treatment opportunity is missed, the chancre may disappear on its own after a few weeks. At this time, don't be glad that the disease has been cured. On the contrary, the bacteria have already invaded the blood and spread throughout the body with the blood. Various rashes appear on the skin, often accompanied by swollen lymph nodes. This is secondary syphilis. Syphilis will enter secondary stage six weeks after infection, and about 20% of secondary syphilis patients lose the chance of cure. This shows how important it is to detect primary syphilis early and treat it as soon as possible.

harm

If women are infected with syphilis and it is not discovered in time, it will not only harm themselves, but also spread to their husbands or others. Primary syphilis is highly contagious, and there are a large number of Treponema pallidum on the surface of the chancre. Especially for women with chancroid growing in the vagina or cervix, because chancroid is painless and itchy, does not affect sexual intercourse, and is difficult to detect, it is the most dangerous source of infection.

When a woman is infected with syphilis during pregnancy, the Treponema pallidum can invade the fetus, causing miscarriage, stillbirth, and premature death after birth, or passing on congenital syphilis to the child.

Before liberation, in many areas where syphilis was severely prevalent, there was a tragic situation where mothers were seen pregnant but no children were born, and some villages even suffered the disaster of genocide. It can be seen that the harm of congenital syphilis is quite serious.
