Vaginal bleeding at 27 weeks of pregnancy

Vaginal bleeding at 27 weeks of pregnancy

A woman's physical condition after pregnancy is of particular concern, and this is also a group of people who are given special protection in life. Of course, some women are prone to adverse symptoms due to improper care during pregnancy. For example, vaginal bleeding is more serious after pregnancy. If a woman who is 27 weeks pregnant has vaginal bleeding, it should be taken seriously.

1. Threatened abortion

If you have a hard abdomen and a small amount of vaginal bleeding at 27 weeks of pregnancy and have ruled out the possibility of placenta previa, then this may be the cause of threatened abortion. In addition, you also need to rule out the possible cause of cervical disease. It is recommended to pay attention to rest, abstain from sexual intercourse and maintain smooth bowel movements, observe fetal movements and abdominal distension. If the abdominal distension is obvious and regular, uterine contractions need to be suppressed for treatment. Abnormal fetal movements also require timely hospital examination and regular prenatal check-ups to understand the development of the fetus.

2. Inspection

If there is a possibility of threatened abortion, it is recommended to go to the hospital for a B-ultrasound examination and receive intramuscular injection of progesterone to preserve the pregnancy under the guidance of a doctor. During the period of preserving the pregnancy, the patient should not only rest in bed (try not to move around except for urination and defecation), but also strictly refrain from sexual intercourse. In addition, the patient should maintain emotional stability, avoid tense environments, supplement with adequate nutrition, and take some vitamin E orally. If the embryo is normal and the cause of the miscarriage is eliminated after rest and treatment, the bleeding will stop and the pregnancy can continue.

3. Others

If bleeding after pregnancy is abnormal, it is recommended to do an ultrasound examination. If it is confirmed to be an intrauterine pregnancy, and there is a small amount of bleeding now, it is considered a threatened abortion. Progesterone and blood HCG tests should be done in time to understand whether the hormones are normal, and then targeted fetal preservation should be carried out. If these two hormones are too low in early pregnancy, it can cause threatened abortion.
