Placenta previa bleeding at home

Women may experience placenta previa during pregnancy. There are many reasons for this situation, and it may be caused by the placenta being too low. Don't panic if placenta previa occurs. Be sure to follow the doctor's instructions for treatment. Timely treatment will not have much impact on the fetus. If a pregnant woman has placenta previa, she must rest well, avoid strenuous exercise, and go to the hospital for a prenatal check-up in time.

Placenta previa, repeated vaginal bleeding. The placenta is normally attached to the posterior wall, anterior wall or lateral wall of the uterine body. If the placenta is attached to the lower segment of the uterus or covers the internal cervical os, and is located lower than the presenting part of the fetus, it is called placenta previa. The clinical manifestations of placenta previa are related to its classification. There are three types of placenta previa:

1. Complete placenta previa or central placenta previa, the internal cervical opening is completely covered by placental tissue.

2. Partial placenta previa, the internal cervical opening is partially covered by placental tissue.

3. Marginal placenta previa: the edge of the placenta is attached to the lower segment of the uterus and does not extend beyond the internal cervical os.
