Normal menstrual blood does not coagulate. The main reason is that under the action of plasmin, fibrin will be broken down into flowing decomposition products. If the amount of menstrual blood is too much and there is not enough time, and the flow of menstrual blood is blocked, it will coagulate into blood clots and flow out.
