Pictures of women's secretions

Although most women talk about the topic of "female secretions" in a reserved way, you don't need to feel ashamed. Whether you like it or not, it is part of the female body and every woman has to deal with it. It is a mixture of female secretions and cervical mucus, so it can reflect some information about your internal urinary system. Under normal circumstances, it should be clear, white, and without any odor, and the texture and amount may vary according to the menstrual cycle. Now let’s discuss the reasons for various female secretions so that we can help you identify any abnormalities in time.

1. White discharge

It is normal to have a little white or creamy discharge at the beginning or end of your period. However, it is not enough to just look at the color, you also have to consider other aspects. For example, if it is thicker, even like lotion or leucorrhea, it may indicate a yeast infection; if the white discharge is accompanied by itching, odor, and pelvic pain, it may be a symptom of bacterial vaginal infection or a sexually transmitted disease. At this time, the key is not the color, but to comprehensively judge whether it is normal based on the taste, texture and other symptoms of the entire pelvic area.

2. Watery secretions

Clear, watery female discharge is also normal and can occur at any time during the menstrual cycle, so there is no need to worry.

3. Egg white-like ingredients

This kind of secretion, which is also clear and transparent but looks and feels very stretchy, indicates that you are ovulating. It is also very normal and healthy, there is nothing wrong with it.

4. Bright red, pink or dark brown secretions

These all mean that there is blood in the secretions. If your period has just ended, it may be normal to have strong discharge. At this time, you are more likely to see dark brown discharge, which is some residual menstrual period. However, if it occurs between two menstrual periods, or even after menopause, it may be a symptom or even cancer, because this pink discharge is one of the symptoms of cervical cancer.

5. Yellow discharge

This color of secretion may be normal, but it may also mean that you are infected and need to be considered in conjunction with other factors. Generally speaking, if the yellow discharge is thicker, rougher, or has a strong odor, it is abnormal and may be a symptom of vaginal fungus, mycoplasma infection, or gonorrhea, all of which are sexually transmitted diseases. Therefore, when yellow discharge of this nature appears, you should be careful to avoid sexual intercourse to avoid aggravating the condition and infecting the other party.
