Is it harmful to have lipstick that doesn't fade?

Lipstick is basically a must-have item for women. Many women have more than one lipstick. Changing to a different color of lipstick every day will make you feel different. In order to meet the requirements of different groups of people, there are many types of lipsticks now. Among them, non-fading lipsticks are popular among many women, because many women feel that it is troublesome to always pay attention to whether the lipstick is fading. So is non-fading lipstick really good?

Is it harmful to have lipstick that doesn't fade?

1. Non-fading lipstick contains volatile ingredients, the purpose of which is to evaporate the moisture in the lipstick and make the color adhere to the lips better. But at the same time, it will also take away the moisture on the lips, easily causing a lot of lip lines, and most non-fading lipsticks do not contain oil and are much less moisturizing than other lipsticks.

2. Some organic pigments used for coloring in lipstick have a strong staining effect on the lips. If they remain on the lips for a long time, not only will they cause pigmentation on the lips, but if the material is toxic, it may also endanger your health.

3. Biomolecular scientist Isaac Pisa said that lipstick contains heavy metal ingredients, including lead, cadmium, chromium, etc. Their radiation period averages about 40 years, and they have a great impact on the kidneys. Over time, the brain and nerves will also be affected. Therefore, the residue left by long-lasting lipstick is even more terrible.

It can be seen that normal lipstick will fade, but lipstick that does not fade at all can be harmful.

The hidden dangers of long-term lipstick application

1. The main ingredients of lipstick are lanolin, wax and dyes. Due to the complex composition of lanolin, it is easy to cause allergic reactions, such as chapped and peeling lip mucosa, and sometimes itchy or slight pain in the lips.

2. The lanolin in lipstick has strong adsorption capacity and can adsorb dust, bacteria, viruses and some heavy metal ions in the air onto the lip mucosa. When people drink water or eat food, they can bring lipstick and the harmful substances on it into their mouths and enter the body directly.

3. The coal tar dyes used in all lipsticks are terrible carcinogens, and the amount of this substance contained in lipsticks has far exceeded the amount allowed in food. After putting on lipstick, it is inevitable that the lipstick will be licked off and enter the human body unintentionally while talking, drinking tea or eating.
