Why do women have nipple hair?

I believe that in life, many women will find that their nipples are growing hair. In fact, don’t panic too much about this problem, because some of the areola hair growth is physiological. 1. What is the reason for the hair growing on the areola?

2. Physiological areola hair growth

3. Pathological hair growth on the areola

There is also a condition called polycystic ovary syndrome, which is also an endocrine disease in which the ovaries are enlarged and contain many small fluid-filled cysts, the level of androgen increases, and ovulation cannot occur. Such patients may have excessive hair growth and hair around the areola. If this is the case, it is recommended to go to the hospital as soon as possible to rule out pathological factors causing the symptoms.

4. If the hair on a woman's areola is not pathological, it is very normal. Since each of us has hair follicles around our nipples, hair will slowly start to grow when they begin to develop. Some women will have a lot of nipple hair. After menopause, the growth of nipple hair on the breasts will generally slow down and gradually disappear.
