What are the causes of cervical erosion and bleeding?

Cervical erosion has physiological reasons, and it also has physiological reasons. Physiological cervical erosion is a normal physiological phenomenon that does not require treatment and will not cause bleeding. For the erosive changes of the cervix, if there is cervical precancerous lesions, cervical cancer or chronic cervicitis, it will cause irregular bleeding or blood in the secretions, and will also be accompanied by an increase in the amount of secretions and abnormal color. Therefore, it is necessary to do precancerous screening of the cervix, namely human papillomavirus testing and cervical cytology testing. If the examination shows cervical inflammation, anti-inflammatory treatment will be carried out. If there are precancerous lesions in the cervix or the human papillomavirus is positive, the next step may be a hysteroscopy, and the next step of treatment will be determined based on the results of the hysteroscopy.

The causes of cervical erosion and bleeding are as follows: 1. Bleeding caused by inflammation; 2. Cervical precancerous lesions; 3. Cervical cancer. If there is cervical erosion and bleeding, it is recommended to go to the hospital immediately for medical treatment, do a gynecological examination, perform cervical cytology, HPV test, colposcopy and cervical biopsy, and decide on further treatment plans based on the test results. If the test results show cervical precancerous lesions, cervical conization is recommended. If the test results confirm that it is cervical cancer and the clinical stage is in the early stage, surgical treatment is recommended; if the clinical stage is in the late stage of cervical cancer, radiotherapy and chemotherapy should be carried out.

Bleeding due to cervical erosion, at first this statement may be a little incorrect, now the term cervical erosion is no longer mentioned, in the past the term cervical erosion was once quite popular, causing patients' anxiety, and many patients went to irregular hospitals for excessive treatment, so now the term cervical erosion has been abolished, the so-called cervical erosion is mostly latent erosion.

In fact, it is a normal physiological phenomenon called cervical columnar epithelial displacement. Under normal circumstances, cervical columnar epithelial displacement will not cause bleeding because it is a normal process. However, some people may have cervical inflammation and may have irregular bleeding during intercourse. In addition, there are some symptoms of uterine bleeding, which is mainly due to the possible existence of cervical cancer or precancerous lesions, a small part of which may manifest as erosion. For patients with cervical bleeding, it is recommended to go to the hospital outpatient clinic for reliable cervical cancer screening. After cervical cancer is eliminated, there is no need to worry too much.
