What are the dangers of artificial abortion?

With the development of the times, living together before marriage is no longer a new thing. Most people who have artificial abortions are those born in the 1990s and some college students. Most of these people know too little about pregnancy and contraception. Although artificial abortion is a minor gynecological surgery, it is still harmful. What are the hazards of artificial abortion?

Danger 1: Doctors warn girls not to take abortion as a joke, otherwise they will pay a heavy price: heavy bleeding, gynecological inflammation, lifelong infertility or even death. Because abortions for unmarried pregnant women are mostly carried out secretly, and some are even carried out under conditions of simple facilities, poor disinfection, and inferior medical skills; or many unscientific and dangerous traditional methods are adopted to forcibly abort the fetus. These practices often easily lead to inflammation of the reproductive organs, damage to the uterus and other internal organs, or heavy bleeding, and even endanger life.

Harm 2: Abortion is not "heartfelt". Multiple operations will cause repeated scraping of the endometrium, which will thin the uterine wall and reduce the endometrium, leading to serious consequences such as less menstruation, gynecological inflammation, lifelong infertility and even death. Abortion is prone to all kinds of emotions. For example, endometritis, adnexitis, and pelvic inflammatory disease can cause uterine perforation and lead to lifelong infertility. The organs of young children are not fully developed, and miscarriage may lead to very serious consequences such as chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, menstrual irregularities, uterine blood accumulation, and postoperative amenorrhea. Because surgery always has the uncertainty of complications such as infection, bleeding, and uterine perforation. In addition, personal artificial abortion surgery does not necessarily lead to adverse consequences such as menstrual disorders, uterine adhesions and endometriosis, and it does not necessarily have an impact on future fertility. Therefore, young girls should avoid having artificial abortion, but the most serious taboo is to have premature sexual life. What’s even more frightening is that induced abortion can lead to lifelong infertility. Especially those who have undergone multiple abortions are more likely to give birth. Due to repeated scraping of the endometrium, the uterine wall becomes thinner and the endometrium becomes less and less. Leading to scanty menstruation or even amenorrhea. If the fertilized egg implants without good "soil", it will be forbidden to develop into an embryo, resulting in lifelong infertility.

Hazard three: Although artificial abortion is a minor operation, traditional operations are contraindicated and are performed under direct vision. Complications may often occur due to careless operation. At the same time, the operation is performed through the vagina, which is very convenient and causes concern. Specifically, during an artificial abortion, the uterus may not necessarily not contract, causing heavy bleeding; it may not necessarily lead to incomplete abortion and require a second curettage; if the uterus is too bent or it is a lactating uterus, uterine perforation may occur easily; if the patient's uterine blood flow is not smooth, it may cause uterine cavity blood accumulation and present with unbearable pain; some pregnant women may also develop artificial abortion syndrome, with symptoms such as low blood pressure, slow heart rate, and profuse sweating. In the long term after traditional artificial abortion, the basal layer of the uterus and cervical endometrium will be destroyed during curettage, resulting in cervical and uterine adhesions, causing menstrual blood flow disorders; or excessive curettage will destroy the basal layer of the endometrium and cause amenorrhea. Due to acute and chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, the lumen of the fallopian tube becomes narrow, which can easily lead to ectopic pregnancy or even infertility. Between 1 and 5 out of every 10 women who undergo a botched abortion develop complications such as sepsis, hemorrhage, infertility, and psychological trauma, requiring prolonged treatment.

Hazard 4: Among the uneven quality of medical institutions, if you choose an irregular clinic and use improper abortion methods, it may affect future fertility. Improper abortion can cause bacteria to enter the uterine cavity due to severe cervicitis or improper disinfection during the operation, thereby causing salpingitis and blockage of the fallopian tubes, hindering the meeting and fertilization of the egg and sperm, and causing infertility.

Hazard 5: If during the process of artificial abortion, excessive suction or curettage damages the cervical canal and endometrium, followed by cervical adhesion blockage or uterine cavity adhesion shrinkage, sperm cannot pass through the cervical canal into the uterine cavity, or the fertilized egg cannot implant and develop, thus leading to infertility.

Hazard 6: In addition, if the basal layer of the endometrium is sucked out during excessive suction or curettage, or the basal layer of the endometrium is scraped off by excessive scraping with a curette, the endometrium cannot regenerate, causing long-term amenorrhea, and the fertilized egg will have no place to implant. Artificial abortion, especially multiple artificial abortions in a short period of time, can easily cause salpingitis, cervical and uterine adhesions, amenorrhea, etc., thus causing infertility.
