What happens if there is a lump in the chest?

If there are lumps in the breast, everyone should pay attention to it, because breast diseases are highly prevalent and many people delay treatment due to lack of attention. To treat breast lump and pain, we must first find out the corresponding cause, whether it is breast hyperplasia or breast fibroma, etc. The specific cause should be found out in a regular hospital.

If the breast lumps are cyclical and often occur or worsen before menstruation, and the pain is significantly reduced or disappears after menstruation, it may be breast hyperplasia, which generally does not require treatment;

This can occur in all age groups, but is most common in those aged 25-45. The lumps are often multiple and can be seen on one side or both sides, and can be limited to one part of the breast or scattered throughout the breast. The lumps are nodular, of varying sizes, tough and cystic in texture, with no adhesion to the skin and deep tissues and can be moved.

Breast hyperplasia may be caused by overwork. Just pay attention to rest!

If the lump is the size of a peanut or a date pit, movable, with smooth edges, clear boundaries, and a hard mass, and it often occurs in women aged 15-25 with strong sexual function, generally without axillary lymphadenopathy, no nipple discharge, and the size of the lump has no effect on the menstrual cycle; it often occurs in the upper outer quadrant of the breast, most of which are single, and a few are multiple. The biggest feature is that the patient often has no symptoms and is often found accidentally or while taking a bath; this may be a fibroid.

Breast fibroids are the most common benign tumors in adolescent females. People who have repeated and multiple episodes should be highly alert and should go to the hospital for treatment.
