1. A woman's hymen can be repaired. Hymen repair surgery uses the remaining hymen to repair it and restore it to its original state before rupture using modern scientific methods. The difficulty of the operation depends on the shape of the fragments of the ruptured hymen. If the rupture is caused by external impact, less sexual life, sports tearing, etc., it is generally easier to repair. However, due to many reasons such as poor blood supply to the tissue fibers of the hymen, high tension on the wound after surgery, susceptibility to contamination and difficulty in care, the operation is difficult to succeed in one go, especially in the case of complex rupture of the hymen.

Small ophthalmic scissors are used to cut a neat edge of the ruptured hymen, and then nylon thread is used to suture it carefully, leaving only a hole for a little finger to pass through the hymen. A small amount of antibiotic ointment is applied after the operation. After the operation, the vulva is cleaned with 0.1% Sanisol solution every day to prevent infection. The stitches can usually be removed after five days.

3. For those whose hymen is ruptured due to frequent sexual intercourse, the operation is slightly more complicated. Sometimes it is necessary to make a labia minora mucosal flap on the side or both sides of the vaginal opening to narrow the vaginal opening. Regardless of which method is used during the operation, the patient basically feels no pain, and the hymen reconstructed by surgery can generally be restored to its original state after one to two months. Regarding the time of marriage, it is recommended to be two to three months after the operation.
